This song idea came to us when we were on our honeymoon. We went to a beautiful log lodge in the Eastern Oregon Mountains. One day out hiking, we sat down next to a bubbling creek to work on a song. We couldn’t believe the beautiful sights, sounds, and fragrances we were experiencing. It was breathtaking. I told Dave that “it was Mountain Heaven up here”. We loved that hook and sat down and wrote this song. It is so special because it encompasses the love we were feeling on our honeymoon hike. It takes me there whenever I hear it, and I hope it will take you to a special place on a mountain somewhere, too!
